Are you looking for a safe place to process and explore your emotions and thoughts, build coping skills, and work toward a more fulfilling life?
As a first-generation, lesbian, and neurodivergent psychotherapist, I strive to create an affirming and culturally competent environment where clients from all walks of life feel welcome, understood, and heard. I have experience working with children, teens, and adults who are struggling with depression, anxiety, life transitions, executive dysfunction, trauma, and more. With lived and professional experiences, I am especially passionate about working with the LGBT+ community, immigrants, and neurodivergent individuals.
I am trained in evidence-based modalities such as ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing). Therapy with me begins with a thorough assessment to better understand what brought you to therapy. We will explore your background, needs, and experiences and collaborate on a treatment plan that is tailored to you. In therapy sessions, we will explore and process your emotions, thoughts, and relational patterns in depth. With that knowledge, we will explore and build specific coping strategies to help you get through difficult moments and work towards your goals. We will also explore your values and create a path toward a more fulfilled life.
By seeking therapy, you are taking a big step toward healing and growth. I will be honored to embark on this journey with you.
